Verified Footage is a platform for real, verified footage of places and moments. Contributors capture and upload clips; people and AI tools search the catalog to see what places actually look like. These terms cover your use of the Verified Footage website, app, and API (together, the “Service”), operated by Bleecker Studios. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your phone secure. You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service. One person, one account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
You keep ownership of the footage you upload. You grant Verified Footage a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, verify, reproduce, and distribute that footage as part of operating the Service, including through our search, public feed, API, and partner and AI tools. This license lets us deliver downloads and integrations to others under the clip’s license (see License).
You confirm that, for everything you upload:
This license continues for footage that others have already downloaded or used while it was available. If you remove footage or delete your account, we stop distributing it going forward, but copies already downloaded cannot be recalled.
The Service is for genuine footage of real places and scenes. Do not upload:
We screen uploads automatically and do not guarantee that every upload is published. Footage that does not fit may stay in your private library instead of entering the public feed and search.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Verified Footage. That includes anything sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, or otherwise harmful, and any user who targets or abuses others.
Anyone signed in can report a clip or block a contributor from the clip’s details. We review every report and remove content that breaks these terms, and we will eject users who post objectionable material or behave abusively. We act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours: removing the content and, where warranted, suspending or terminating the account. A clip is also automatically pulled from the public feed and search once enough people report it, pending review. Blocking a contributor hides all of their footage from you. We may remove content or close accounts at any time for violations.
Footage you download or access through the Service is governed by that clip’s license. Most clips are cleared for commercial use; some are marked editorial only. You are responsible for using each clip within its license and for clearing any additional rights your specific use requires. See the License page for details.
Each clip carries a classification describing how it was captured and verified. We work to make these labels accurate, but they are provided as is and are not a warranty. You should apply your own judgment before relying on any clip for a high-stakes use.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. In short: we use your phone number and capture metadata to run the Service, and footage location is shown publicly only at a place level, never your exact coordinates.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved clips, search history, and the footage you uploaded. Anything already downloaded or used elsewhere cannot be recalled.
The Service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bleecker Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, ask you to review and accept the new terms.
