Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: the phone number you sign in with, and a profile (handle, optional display name and location, and whether your profile is public).
• Footage and its metadata: the clips you upload and the technical and capture details attached to them, including resolution, device and camera information, capture time, and location.
• Activity: what you save, favorite, search, download, and the search and API queries you run, used for your history and for usage counts.
• Diagnostics: basic technical information needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use it

• To run your account and let you sign in.
• To process, verify, classify, and publish the footage you upload.
• To power search, the public feed, downloads, and our API and partner and AI tools.
• To keep the Service safe: screening uploads and handling reports and blocks.
• To show usage counts and improve the Service.

Location

Footage can carry a location. On public surfaces, location is shown only at a place level, such as a neighborhood, city, or region. Your exact coordinates are never shown publicly. You can see the exact location of your own footage on your own map.

What is public

Footage you contribute is intended to be searchable and downloadable through the Service. When your profile is public, your handle is shown on your footage and your profile can be opened and favorited. When your profile is private, your name is hidden and your footage shows as a private contributor, while remaining searchable. You control this in Settings, and you can block any contributor from a clip’s details.

Service providers

We share data with vendors only to operate the Service. These include hosting and database providers, video storage and streaming providers, an SMS provider for sign-in codes, a geocoding provider to resolve places, and an AI provider used to describe footage and screen it for safety. They process data on our behalf under their own terms; we do not sell your personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved clips, search history, and the footage you uploaded, including its stored copies. Footage that others already downloaded or used elsewhere cannot be recalled.

Your choices

• Make your profile public or private in Settings.
• Report a clip or block a contributor from the clip’s details.
• Delete your account and footage at any time.

Children

The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 17 years old to use it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the date above.
